As a swimmer at USC and Olympic hopeful, I trained six hours per day and ran several miles per week as part of my workout schedule, until being sidelined with injuries. What an AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Season! Ryan ended up at the 11th placed team on tour and ranked 15th for digs. Saralyn is the 8th ranked player for blocks and the 28th player for overall points this season. These stats are outstanding, especially considering our average finishes were 13th, and most players ranked above us consistently made it to Sunday.

Without a doubt, it was not our efforts alone that brought our successes this season. We’d like to take a moment to thank you for your support and for your staff’s tender care. The progress Saralyn has made with her shoulder and posture was outstanding. Not to mention the emergency staph infection that Dr. Hayes diagnosed and we were able to take care of immediately. For the past 15 years I have competed in every type of endurance race, including over 70 triathlons and two Iron Man. When I was sidelined for 6 months with a neck injury, I put the same dedication into finding a solution as I did my training and racing. Unfortunately, all roads were leading toward neck surgery. As a 39 year old man, that was the last thing I wanted. Knowing that was now a possibility, I wanted to check one more option before surgery. My orthopedic doctor referred me to Mary Eberhart. I was referred to Complete Spine and Wellness Center from my primary doctor about 8 months ago. For years I have been suffering with low back pain because about 7 years ago I had back surgery that left me with severe pain. The pain was so debilitating I could not walk or stand longer than 10 minutes. I am a 55 year old man and consider myself active and someone that enjoys life. I have been in and out of pain clinics receiving epidural injections and massive doses of medication. I thought there was no hope until I was sent me to the Complete Spine and Wellness Center. From the first minute I entered the beautiful office, the staff was kind, warm and accommodating. Dr. Eberhart sat down for 15 minutes and asked me pertinent questions about my condition. I never had any doctor spend this much time with me! She them gave me a thorough exam and explained my condition to me. My experience with Complete Spine and Wellness was great. After my accident I worked for about two weeks with back pain for the better part of the day. I ended up taking about Ibuprofen pain relievers two to three times a day to get me through. Finally, I decided to get chiropractic care. Complete Spine welcomed me with a friendly staff and compassion for my situation. They got me started immediately with treatments. All of their chiropractors are professional, friendly, and competent. What stood out for me was that they always took their time and never rushed to get me in and out. These things were very important, as my treatments extended out over a few months.
